Alfresco Dining & Summer Drinks

When the sun’s out in Exeter, there’s nowhere better to be than our wine garden – with not one, but two beautiful south-facing spaces. Whether you’re catching up with friends over a bottle of rosé, sharing lunch in the sunshine, or winding down with a cold pint as the day fades, our wine and beer garden is perfect for relaxed alfresco dining.

You’ll find parasols for shade and plenty of seating throughout the warmer months – but do bring extra layers if the weather turns, as there are no covered areas or outdoor heating.

Food & Drink

Local, Seasonal & Garden Fresh

Our garden restaurant in the heart of Exeter serves fresh, local, and seasonal West Country cuisine, with an ever-evolving menu crafted by our talented chefs. We prioritise local sourcing – from Brixham fish to Topsham vegetables – and almost everything we serve is made in-house.

Enjoy your favourites under the sun with our full menu available for outdoor dining, from small plates to hearty mains. Pair your meal with something from our extensive drinks list, including over 80 wines, local ales, and an extensive range of interesting spirits both local and global. Whether it’s lunch or evening drinks, our wine garden offers the perfect setting to unwind and indulge.

Book Your Garden Table

We take bookings for lunch inside the restaurant, but if you’d like to sit in the wine and beer garden just let us know and we’ll save you a spot – weather permitting. In the evening, you’re welcome to sit outside on arrival, and we’ll also hold a table for you inside in case the weather changes.

Book your table today and relax alfresco at Exeter’s best-kept secret.
